Located in Barton Creek, this whole house remodel provides roots for a vibrant family relocating to Austin. This job worked to improve the dark interiors of the original home and to open up the living spaces for congregating and entertaining. Beige finishes were replaced with warm tones and cheerful colors to reflect the energy of the new homeowners as well as to provide variety and specificity to the home’s spaces: a cozy blue with cheeky friends for the reading nook, tranquil and textured earth tones for a relaxing primary bathroom, meditative barely-there pink to welcome guests and balance the more masculine study. The crown jewels of the space include the organizing media center holding court opposite the elegant yet comfortable kitchen.
